CEPAR researchers to present at Netspar International Pension Workshop

The Network for Studies on Pensions, Aging and Retirement (Netspar), based in the Netherlands at Tilburg University, is hosting its annual International Pension Workshop online on January 26 and 27, 2022.

The international workshop examines pension systems from around the world and provides a platform to network with leading researchers in the area of pensions, retirement and ageing.

A number of CEPAR researchers will present their latest research:

On 26 January, CEPAR Research Associate Cheng Wan will present on 'The Demand for Longevity, Critical Illness Insurance and Long-term Care Insurance in the Wake of the COVID-19 Pandemic', and CEPAR Senior Research Associate Dr Yuanyuan Deng will present on 'Gender Effect in Long-term Care: Evidence from China'.

On 27 January, CEPAR PhD Candidate Tin Long Ho and Associate Investigator Dr Katja Hanewald will present their research on 'Preferred Home Equity Release Approach for Retirement', and CEPAR Senior Research Fellow Dr George Kudrna will present on 'Pensions, Income Taxes and Homeownership: A Cross-country Analysis'.

CEPAR Associate Investigator Professor Jennifer Alonso Garcia from the Université Libre de Bruxelles will act as discussant for a presentation on educational differences in Healthy Life Expectancy (HLE) in the United States.
